On Friday, March 18, 2022, Kathy Judkins, South Lake Chamber of Commerce Board Member and the Senior Consultant for Civic, Charitable & Government Relations for SECO Energy, presented the Ray Goodgame Outstanding Student Leader Award to Isabelle Millman of South Lake High School.

Isabelle Millman has displayed exceptional leadership throughout high school by taking on roles such as Freshman Class Secretary and Treasurer, Sophomore Class Vice President, Executive Board Parliamentarian and Executive Board Vice President. At a young age, Isabelle understands the importance of being engaged in school clubs and memberships while simultaneously balancing work-life and volunteerism. She participated in the school’s Student Government Association, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, STEM Club, Debate and Black Student Union. While being involved in school day and after school activities, this student played for her schools Junior Varsity Softball team and served as the manager for the Varsity Volleyball team.

Isabelle is a member of the Beginning Women’s Choir, Bella Acapella and Vita Música. She has earned awards and recognitions from Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen, Sunshine State Scholar, Quest Bridge College Prep Scholar, Quest Bridge National College Match Recipient and AP Scholar with Distinction where only 10% of students nationwide receive this level of achievement by the time they graduate. For more than two years, she has served as a manager for McDonald’s putting in 20-30 hours per week while maintaining a GPA of 5.03.

Isabelle announced that she will attend Yale University and will utilize this scholarship to fund her studies. The South Lake Chamber of Commerce wishes great success to Isabelle Millman.
