For nearly a quarter-century, the dedicated men and women of the Sheriff’s Office have shown an unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of the citizens of Minneola and Lake County as a whole. Since 1995, when they first began serving the City of Minneola, their impact has been nothing short of remarkable.

Under the exceptional leadership of Sheriff Peyton Grinnell and his remarkable team, Minneola has flourished as a beacon of safety within the state of Florida. Through their tireless efforts, Minneola has consistently achieved the distinction of being one of the top ten safest cities in the entire state and has proudly held the title of the safest city in Lake County on multiple occasions.

This achievement is a testament to the diligence, professionalism, and dedication exhibited by the Sheriff’s Office in their daily endeavors. From patrolling the streets with a watchful eye to implementing effective crime prevention measures, they have set a shining example for law enforcement agencies throughout the region.

As guardians of peace and security, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office has not only protected lives and property, but they have also fostered a sense of trust and unity within the community. Through their community outreach programs, they have built strong relationships that empower citizens and promote collaborative crime-solving efforts.

This morning, we gather to recognize the remarkable accomplishments of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office and to extend our deepest gratitude for their invaluable service.
