On Valentine’s Day, the Clermont Woman’s Club delivered handmade cards, puzzles, game books and “some love”  to several assisted living facilities in the South Lake Community.

April 1st is fast approaching…it is the deadline for graduating females from the local high schools, East Ridge, South Lake and Minneola, to apply for the $1,000.00 scholarships offered at each school.  Applications can be downloaded from www.clermontwomansclub.org or from each of the school’s Guidance Departments.

The Clermont Woman’s Club is a Federated Woman’s Club chartered in 1927.  It is a non-profit service organization and by fundraising throughout the year, they are able to support international, national and local charities.  They meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 12:30 pm at their clubhouse 655 Broome St. & 7th St., Clermont.  For information see www.clermontwomansclub.org
