Due to an overwhelming demand for second doses, the Florida Department of Health – Lake County will no longer be administering first doses at the Groveland Amazon Distribution site.

Vaccinations will still take place drive-thru distribution style on a first come first serve basis, Monday through Friday beginning at 8 a.m. while supplies last.

Participants must be 65 years of age or older and present a valid Florida driver’s license or a copy of a valid Florida Identification Card for proof of Florida residency. Front line workers with direct patient contact are also eligible with proper identification. To view a complete list of acceptable identification, visit lake.floridahealth.gov. Face masks are required.

According to the Florida Department of Health – Lake County, for those seeking their first or second immunization dose, the Lake Square Mall immunization site is still available by appointment only. Residents may pre-register for an appointment online at myvaccine.fl.gov, or by phone at 866-201-6909 (or 833-476-1031 for TTY users).
