The Chamber was honored to be on hand as Lake County and the City of Minneola officially opened phase one of the Citrus Grove Road extension. The Citrus Grove Road Project is divided into four phases and will widen, realign and extend Citrus Grove Road from Highway 27 to Florida’s Turnpike (south of the Minneola Interchange) while adding a multipurpose trail for pedestrians and cyclists. Construction will soon start on Phase 3. Phases 2 and 4 will be built through public-private-partnerships and are in the early planning stages. This project will further improve our transportation network, reduce travel times, improve safety, increase private commercial investment, and strengthen area property values.
