The Ray Goodgame Outstanding Student Leader Award, presented by the South Lake Chamber of Commerce, honors students in the South Lake area, who like Ray, serve as a champion for our community. The Chamber was honored to present the award to Jeremiah Morris-Wyley of South Lake High School.

Jeremiah is an AP student that has completed 10 AP courses, is dual enrolled and holds a GPA of 4.79. He has been named the Lake Regional Environthon Winner every year since 2018 and has placed 2nd (2018-2020) and 3rd (2021) in the Lake County Science Fair.

Jeremiah is active in the Future Business Leaders of America, serving as the vice president for District 10, and also serves as vice president of the National Honors Society, STEM, Mu Alpha Theta and is the current president of the Black Student Union. He also spends time tutoring underclassmen in Algebra I, II and Geometry. Outside of school and activities, Jeremiah helps out at his family’s business.
