Dear Chamber Members,

On behalf of the South Lake Chamber of Commerce, I want to thank you for your membership and continued support of our community. This year my goal is to help you grow your business and our community through chamber involvement.

I joined the Chamber in 2004 when a friend suggested it would help me grow my business. At first, I failed to realize that simply joining the Chamber will not miraculously make your business grow. I learned it would take involvement on my part to fully benefit from my Chamber membership. I didn’t start to fully engage until eight years ago by attending Chamber breakfasts, Business After Hours. Additionally, I joined various committees and the Chamber Board of Directors. By engaging in those chamber activities, I was no longer known as Pat Caracciolo, but as ‘Pat the Dog’ (my business name), which is fine by me!

My mission this year is to help existing and new members become more involved. Joining the Chamber is a great first step but becoming involved in the Chamber is an invaluable investment for your business. Under the leadership of David Colby, our dedicated Chamber staff is here to help our members grow their business by providing a variety of networking, advertising, educational and social opportunities. Involvement does not look the same for each member, it may simply be bringing forward innovative ideas on what the Chamber can to do to help you grow your business.

Our Chamber is the largest chamber in Lake County with members from the cities of Mascotte, Groveland, Minneola, Montverde and Clermont. These members represent a variety of businesses and industries vital to the health of South Lake County. Each member and organization is key to the continued health and wellness of our business community and I thank you for your continued support of the Chamber.

I look forward to working with you to keep South Lake the best community in which to live and operate a business. As our community grows, our businesses must grow with it. Through Chamber involvement, our businesses can do just that!
