In our Coffee with the Chamber discussion on Apr. 13, Jonathan Proto of iRentEverything shared that his business has adjusted to the COVID-19 pandemic by switching gears to service our local hospitals.

As an event rental company, Jonathan lost more than $40,000 in canceled and rescheduled events within the first 15 days of the pandemic. He knew then that he would have to do something quickly.

Knowing that he wanted to give back and serve the community, Jonathan reached out to his contacts and began advertising heavily online to connect with hospitals and medical facilities. Additionally, he added an emergency response page to his website. Currently, Jonathan has more than 18 tents deployed to hospitals and businesses.

Each week, Jonathan continues to meet with new customers and potential testing and screening facilities. Although these times are uncertain, iRentEverything continues to grow and he continues to keep his team members working. Once the pandemic ends, Jonathan plans to pivot back to events.
