The COVID-19 pandemic has brought tremendous adversity to our local business community. I have personally heard the stories of business owners and employees who have been impacted by the effects of COVID-19. I have also witnessed the resilience and innovation of our business community in the ways you have adapted to protect customers and staff.

Our response to COVID-19 has been a whole community effort. Your government –together with local, state and federal agencies– is working diligently to help ensure the public safety of Lake County residents and protect the local economy. As part of this community effort, we are asking Lake County businesses to help promote the safety guidelines prescribed by the Florida Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) which include the wearing of face coverings and social distancing.
