Minneola, FL – In what is easily the biggest and most critical fundraising effort since its inception, the Lake Minneola High School Bands Program is asking for the help of our South Lake community to raise funds for new marching band uniforms. While the average marching band uniform is designed to last about seven years, the LMHS Bands Program students continue to use original uniforms from when the school opened 12 years ago.

Each new uniform is expected to cost approximately $700 dollars and the program will ultimately need to purchase 150 of them for its growing program. How can you make a difference? Please consider a tax-deductible donation to the program’s “One Cause” initiative. You can visit https://give.onecause.com/text4band to contribute today. With overall funding for the program being a significant challenge, every donation made will have a profound impact.

Additionally, if a donation falls within one of the program’s sponsorship tiers, you will be formally recognized as a sponsor for the 2023-24 school year at all band performances and more. Below are the sponsorship tiers:

  • Platinum ‘Marching Green & Gold’ Sponsorship – $2,000+
  • Gold Sponsorship – $1,000-$1,999
  • Silver Sponsorship – $500-$999
  • Bronze Sponsorship – $250-$499

If you have questions relating to the “One Cause” initiative or the benefits of becoming a sponsor of the program, feel free to reach out to Jeff Hickman at VicePresident@LMHSBands.com.

The LMHS Bands Program has seven award-winning performing groups: Two jazz bands, two concert bands, a percussion ensemble, a competitive winter guard program and, of course, a marching band.
