Covelli Family Limited Partnership (CFLP), part of the largest franchisee of Panera, LLC, is helping to heal hearts in the Greater Orlando area with the sales of Heart Cookies from February 1-14 in 31 bakery-cafés. 100 percent of the proceeds from every heart-shaped cookie purchased will benefit The Heart Center at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

In addition, all contributions made into Panera Bread’s Operation Dough-Nation Community Bread Boxes in the participating cafés throughout February will go to The Heart Center. The freshly baked all-butter shortbread cookie is shaped like a heart and decorated for Valentine’s Day with festive icing designs.

To kick off the promotion, members of the Orlando Health team will distribute rounds of Heart Cookies to patients and their families.

“We have a sincere appreciation for the Central Florida community that has helped us to make this campaign a success for the last seven years,” said Kevin Ricci, owner of CFLP.  “We look forward to continuing to bring awareness to Orlando Health’s mission and to serve our guests where and when they need us.”
