Event Details

THE Spring Games is the World’s largest college softball event. It was founded in 2008 by Dr. Dot Richardson and is held in Clermont, Florida at the Legends Way Ballfields at the National Training Center. The Games are a series of college softball games open to all colleges and universities across the USA and Canada. We currently host Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA, and Junior College (JUCO) college softball teams throughout Lake County and Central Florida.

Each year, Legends Way Ballfields welcomes over 300 college softball teams to sunny Central Florida to kickstart their seasons during the months of February, March, and April. For most, THE Spring Games represents the college softball team’s first “go” at competition after a long winter. In 2016, the PFX Athletics hosted 364 college softball teams (Division II, Division III, NAIA, and JUCO) and we are on track for a similar turnout in 2017.

PFX Athletics’ event staff caters to each school’s individual requests such as when they want to play, how many games they want to play, and even WHO they would like to play. We work with the college softball coaches to exceed their expectations for the event. Our goal: to make THE Spring Games the biggest and, most importantly, the BEST college softball games in the United States. Be sure to join our Spring Games Group on Facebook to get up to date information on the Games! There, you can find details on upcoming college softball games, things to do while in Central Florida, discounts to Lake County and Clermont businesses, game results (when provided), photos of the softball players, coaches, and fans, and other great information.
