“In the Heights” is a Tony award winning musical written and produced by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the man behind Hamilton. The story explores three days in the vibrant Latino neighborhood of Washington Heights in New York City. Life has always been a struggle in this “Barrio” but there’s a change in the air as residents find themselves being priced out of their homes. The score features hip-hop, salsa, merengue, and soul music.
