Lake County Rowing will be hosting their first cardboard boat race! We want you to be thinking about how you are going to design your boat! There are so many ideas and we want everyone to participate. You can have a one person boat or even get a group together. We want some good competition because there will be awards to win!!
Some ideas of who might want to build a boat are Police, Fire, Schools, auxiliary clubs, families, dragon boaters, dog shelters, any business representing where you work, pilots, ambulance services, and so much more! The rules are posted and there will be a small fee to participate. After the race will be an award ceremony and a live band – Switch back to the 80’s – and a beer garden! Also vendors and food trucks will be at the park!
