Lake County Schools is seeking community members to be a part of our Entrepreneurship Academy Advisory Board. Both Tavares and Eustis High School have started this groundbreaking program, and it is already getting regional attention. In this program, students experience hands-on training as they ideate, develop, and iterate their own product or service startup with the goal of pitching to professionals and eventually developing into a self-sustaining business.

We are seeking local entrepreneurs and business experts to serve as mentors to a group of students and to serve on an advisory board that advises teachers on workforce needs. Your talent and experience is essential to this project. The next advisory meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 2 at 2 p.m. via Zoom.
