On Tuesday, May 3,2022 CWC held a luncheon at which they announced and hosted the 2022 scholarship recipients and their proud parents. Our exclusive $1,000. scholarships were awarded to Isabella White Lake Minneola HS. She will be attending the University of South Florida, Amari Graham South Lake HS, who will also be attending the University of South Florida and Carly Lutzyk East Ridge HS who will be attending Florida Atlantic University.

Carol Spaldi, Scholarship Committee Chairman, said the recipients are chosen in a blind decision process considering academics, extracurricular activities, school participation, an essay, and because the CWC is a service organization, volunteer activities and community service is also a factor.  The caliber and accomplishments of the applicants makes the decision process more difficult every year.  We congratulate each of these outstanding young women for this milestone.

The Clermont Woman’s Club is a Federated Woman’s Club chartered in 1927.  It is a non-profit service organization and by fundraising throughout the year, they are able to support international, national and local charities.  They meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 12:30pm at their clubhouse 655 W Broome St., & 7th St.,  Clermont.  For information see www.clermontwomansclub.org
