Join the City of Clermont for Senior Week.

Seniors are invited to participate in a free, weeklong celebration from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mon., Sept. 20 through Fri., Sept. 24 at Kehlor Recreation Center, 466 W. Minneola Ave. in Downtown Clermont.

“Our senior champions are such an important part of our community,” Parks and Recreation Director Scott Davidoff said. “We are excited to dedicate an entire week of programs to them.”

Each day of Senior Week will feature a different theme with a variety of vendors and giveaways: Motivation Monday, Travel Tuesday, Wellness Wednesday, Thriving Thursday and Food Friday.

This event is being held in lieu of the annual Senior Expo to help spread out the activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. A mix of indoor and outdoor activities will be offered, recommended for residents age 55 and up.

No registration is required. For more information, contact Amy Dingman at ADingman@clermontfl.org.

Vendors interested in participating can find the registration form and more information at www.ClermontFL.gov/events.

Senior Week is part of the Champions for a Lifetime programming offered by the City of Clermont. These programs offer Clermont’s seniors social activities, fitness classes, games, discussion groups, guest lectures, field trips and more at no cost unless otherwise noted.
Senior Week will be held at the Kehlor Recreation Center, which was rebuilt in 2019.
