This week, the Chamber celebrated over 1600 local educators before starting the school year during our 32nd Annual Teacher Appreciation Breakfast. This two-day celebration consisted of elementary, middle, high, and private school teachers who received over 300 door prizes and cash awards valuing up to $40,000. In addition, the Chamber gave three well-deserving schools a $2,000 School Grant to spend as needed. The recipient of the school grants was Groveland Elementary School, Windy Hill Middle School, and South Lake High School.
