Citizen of the Year
This honor is presented to a local citizen who has displayed dedication to our community.
The Chamber invites your nomination for the 2008 recipient. The established criteria are:
Be a current resident of South Lake County. Have made a substantial contribution for the betterment of the community. Be actively involved in at least two community organizations. Be performing community service on a voluntary basis, above and beyond that which may or may not be incorporated as a requirement of his/her employment.

Gem of the Hills Award
This honor is presented to a local citizen who has displayed outstanding dedication to our community. Nominations are made and then
voted upon by the board of directors. The award is normally presented at the following monthly Chamber Breakfast meeting.
