Four Corners
South Lake County’s Gateway to Disney
At the far southern end of Lake County, spreading out from the intersection of
U.S. Hwy. 27 and 192, is an area known locally as “Four Corners.” This rapidly
growing area is unique in that it lies at the junction point of four Florida
counties: Lake, Osceola, Orange and Polk. Located just west of Disney World,
Four Corners is home to many lodging and housing choices.
Originally established as a convenient location to build housing for many of the
employees who staffed the area’s theme parks, it soon grew to include seasonal
housing and vacation homes to give folks visiting the area a central location
from which to visit many of the tourist attractions. Now with retail and
commercial development at an all-time high, Four Corners is blossoming into an
integral part of South Lake County.
