OFFICERS

Chair- Kasey Kesselring is the Headmaster/CEO of Montverde Academy . In 2011, he will Chair the Public Policy, Nominating, Strategic Planning and Headquarters Committees. Montverde Academy is a Chamber Community Trustee.

Vice-Chair Robert Thompson is Co-founder of Thompson Wesley Advertising, and comes from a diversified professional background, having spent time in the manufacturing industry, education, investment banking, film production and politics. He Chairs the Marketing Committee and serves on the Public Policy Committee. Thompson Wesley is also a Chamber Community Trustee. 

Treasurer - Wendy Terry, CPA is the Partner in Charge of WithumSmith+Brown’s Florida office and is spearheading the firms move to the Southeast.  Wendy has more than 16 years experience working with multinational clients in all industries and is presently on the Chamber Education committee. Withum has over 400 professional in more 13 offices. Withum is a Chamber Community Trustee.

Secretary - Lucy Hage is co-owner of Goin' Postal-Clermont. Lucy is the Chair for the Community Relations Committee and will serve on the Special Events Committee. She will also Chair  the extremely popular annual Teacher Appreciation Breakfast.

Immediate Past Chair - John Moore is the Chief Operating Officer at South Lake Hospital where the mission is clear and simple: to improve the health and quality of life of the people in South Lake County . In addition to serving as Chair of the South Lake Chamber, he will also serve on the Strategic Planning and Nominating Committees. South Lake Hospital is a Chamber Community Trustee

BOARD

Curt Binney is a Certified Public Accountant with Sines Blakeslee Madyda, CPAs. He has more than 16 years experience as a CPA and a Certified Fraud Examiner. Curt is the Chair of the Economic Development Committee and serves on the Public Policy Committee.

Michael Bucher has spent more than 20 years in the banking industry and is a Vice President for United Southern Bank. Michael will serve on the Economic Development, Strategic Planning, and Nominating, Sports and Tourism Committees. He is the Chamber Alliance Liason and a member of the Business Partnership Committee. He also will Chair the Annual Howard Stockton Memorial Golf Outing Committee.

Paul Caldwell is Partner at Caldwell & Payne, P.A. He will be serving on the Economic Development Committee in 2011. 

Ted DeWitt is a principal in the family-owned business - DeWitt Excavating. He will serve on the Economic Development Committee. DeWitt Excavating is a Chamber Community Trustee.
